Just to set the record straight.... the resident fundamentalist's nerves were rattled & flew into indignant blind rage when posting these reflections on the bulk historical sources of bigotry , xenophobia & racism which were ingrained centuries in the various leading Christian cults of Europe . Message 28121344 Nothing is clearer in the most rudimentary inspection of the historical record than this , not just within the intense group hatreds & vicious murders & persecutions in the religiously based wars between the European dominions but passed over to the US and remained in full force into 20th century politics & the virulently polarized landscape . And we still see this devisiveness practiced & in full force today ... (see elections of Calvin Coolidge 1920s) In mentioning this together with slightly altered image below depicting classsically the Lord & his host of angels as caucasian , Adam being represented in the same form shown creating his diety in the image of himself . The double whammy of being confronted with their own history & the great truth that God & Gods of any variety, any place or time are only the creation of Man and not the other way around, this is what set the poor vipers off in hysteria again . Rather than discuss that long history of terrible infighting , persecution , xenophobia , racism , religious bigotry , deaths & mutilations & endless wars of this religious group of opposing cults falling under the title of "Christianity" , some innane ranting & pitiful deflection ensued . Since the beginning of time , Man created God or his Gods in his own image or in the natural forms found around him first animals & spirits , the Stars , the Moon , Planets & the Sun . To have any objectivity regards truth , we start with this & work up to the present .
