I look at things more simply.

I count Romney's delegates as compared to RP's. I look at polls. I look at the media attention given to RP. This suggests he has no chance.

He's the one I prefer, but the facts suggest he has no chance.

Ron Paul has zero chance. This is not an opinion, it is a fact. He ran as a Republican, not as a Libertarian, and Romney has the Republican nomination sewed up.

Presidential candidates run as candidates based on political affiliation. Ron Paul could have run as a Libertarian, third party candidate, which he did before, but this time he did not. The Libertarian candidate is Gary Johnson.

Ron Paul might win in states which allow voters to choose write in candidates. My opinion is that this is not likely.
