He's an honest public figure, smart as hell, but made a few mistakes for which he paid.

His experience I think qualifies him well. Along with David Walker, he tells truth-to-power. It's a short list.

I'd like to see the mincemeat he'd make of Bernanke, Krugman, etc. in a debate.
