The human hand isn't growing he says, but the iPad is much bigger than the Galaxy S III and has sold in the umpty millions. <Every time I show the Galaxy Nexus to a family member of friend, they always, repeat always say that it's too large for them. >

They won't buy it then. That's no problem for Samsung. Judging by how much time people spend looking at and poking their deVices rather than talking to them, Samsung has it right. Bigger is better.

When Samsung comes blasting out with a mirasol version in six inches, Steve Litchfield will really be spitting tacks. He can be the last person without one, sticking doggedly with his little Lumia.

The thing that gets me the people that complain about screen size are usually 3.5" iPhone users that carry a 9.7" iPad tablet. Talk about hypocrites... BTW, the 4.8" Galaxy SIII is the same size as the Galaxy SII with a 4.5" screen. I wonder what the apple fanboys will say when the iPhone 5 comes out with a 4" screen... LOL...

It's at this point that we start venturing into the unknown.

It needs to be pointed out that almost all of the handsets he lists were also ventures into the unknown. I don't think that anybody had popularized 4.3" screens when the Samsung Galaxy S2 debuted.

Personally, I thought that the Galaxy Note was going to be a niche handset with zero popular appeal. Oops.
