I'm more of a trader than investor. It seemed the risk - reward was pretty favorable, given the lengthy decline, good technology, cash on hand and new management. What swayed me was an article inFortune on the CEO of SUNW where they quoted Schmidt as saying McNealy [spelling?] would get the products out and that Schmidt was impressed with that and was going to try to do the same thing with Novl. I see that, for the first time in a while, NOVL is doing exactly that.

I was also impressed with the hopelessness expressed by many on this board, a contrarian's delight. More, the stock acts like it's bottomed.

I used to represent a number of public companies and, with that insight, believe that the news ALWAYS gets out and is reflecgted in the market. Hence I trust the trading pattern more than anything anyone is saying and more than speculating what earnings are going to be. How can you guess earnings when you don't have any idea of revenues?

Sure this thing could crater but I'm loaded with Jan 10 calls and know exactly what I'll lose if it does. If it pops, I'll sell into it, capture the premium and go long the stock.
