The Republicans have not yet brought in the Vice Presidential Candidate.

This is just Romney and Obama.

When the Republicans consolidate the ticket Romney will benefit, not Obama.

Wow, this is a poll by Politico-George Washington University with a 10 point margin for Romney over Obama by the independent voters. That is significant putting Romney over Obama by one percentage point right on Obama's doorstep.

(CBS News) WASHINGTON - A new Politico-George Washington University poll shows Mitt Romney leading President Obama by one point, 48 to 47 percent.

In that poll, independent voters preferred Romney by a ten-point margin.
