the "sell-off" was on the "news" that there are SOCIALISTS IN EUROPE! Shhhhh..... who let the cat out of the bag? That was supposed to be a secret....

If you think about it, this is probably good for the US market as it means they tented TWO of the rat invested homes (Greece and France) in the terrible neighborhood so our house with Obama as the owner looks more attractive.... but the other residents of our home might decide to get rid of the rats before they have to tent the house and that would be really good for the US market.

It depends. It looks relatively weaker when analyzing the cash spx. That chart doesn't show the enormous comeback from down at 1342 on the June ES overnite. When you look at the June ES chart, its quite amazing that it retraced all that loss so quickly, and so looks pretty robust.
