I actually don't care whether Ron Paul gets the Republican nomination, or not, or any other nomination, or not, or wins, or not.

It's not a question of desire, or will, it's simple math. Well, maybe not entirely simple, there is the Electoral College

For US presidential elections, you don't just take your chance in the general election on election day in November. Each state has delegates that will vote according to the presidential primary elections and caucuses, and they will pick their candidate at their national convention. It's done. Already.

Like it or not (and I don't), Romney is the Republican candidate. He just is.
