I carry drawstring trash bags in my Moped. Very useful at Costco, which doesn't provide bags. You would be amazed at how much I can get in my Moped's rear wire basket with a white drawstring bag to enclose it.

Have you ever come across this study called the Garbage Project? It's dated, (1973) but I think it's relevant today. The study employed archaeological methods of examining landfills. It disproved 5 widely-held beliefs about garbage and landfills, such as plastic being a major constituent of them or that America is running out of places for landfills.
