I do not think he pays himself a salary. That is why he can claim that his tax rate is lower than his secretary's.

Yea I think that's the bottom line. He pays SS and MC up to the max limit of what $150K?? on whatever director fees or salaries he pays himself out of Berkshire. He pays hardly anything of his real wealth, which is mostly unrealized capital gains in any kind of taxes and especially not SS and MC taxes.
