I think we saw a bunch of front running the sell-in-May throughout April in a lot of stocks. That mantra has been pounded into the ground, imo. I think we are seeing a lot of profit taking from the great run off the Oct lows. Once that is done, we melt higher....but the downside in many stocks is substantial while we go through this process. FWIW, I tossed out a bunch of under performers in the folks IRA today and bought a bunch of new companies, as well as put some money into stock positions that look good. I'd rather not go over what's been done today on a "public" forum for a number of reasons. Some great trading bounces today. Just don't overstay your welcome as today's market has the look of "sell first, ask questions later".
