Sure we will hear more on this. I don't think the STATE sanctions stealing the child's food. That is likely an exaggeration. I believe I have read that untouched left over lunches are being given to homeless.

I am interested in what the followup will be on this. The libs are pretty crazy in Fairfax, so let's see what kind of response this leads to.

The one that got to me was the child whose lunch was banned because it was packed at home. An inspector of some ilk said a child could not bring their own lunch as it was made at home and could be contaminated
in some way. (Instead she could eat the chicken nuggets and other hard carrots and brownie pre-packed in the school cafeteria. )

I would not have made it through school without my homemade sandwiches, a thermos of soup or tea.
We friends would trade our food-----I hated peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, my friend's mother packed lunch meat with lettuce which he hated. So we traded. Brownies and cookies got shared etc.
