OK but prices in Europe are not that cheap when I was there in 2008 and the devaluation of the Dollar should have made it more expensive, so where are we now?


I'm not sure, I haven't been back to Europe since 2009.

The whole point, though, is that with Europeans rejecting austerity measures, they're necessarily going to devalue their own currencies. Greece might even leave the euro and go back to the drachma.

It has been argued that Inflation is the mechanism by which socialism is allowed to continue.
