I remember dad getting lost on that trip and driving through a line of striking picketers in Kansas City who were banging our car with sticks.

Saw a station wagon like yours on the Nevada Arizona border a few days ago crossing the Hoover Dam, it was in mint condition and had Oregon plates.

Cooler than both cars was a really good condition Buick Invicta I saw a couple of days ago at Rick's Restorations in Las Vegas - it had DGO (Durango) Mexico plates on. I'd never seen the show before because I don't watch much t.v. but Rick and the guys who obviously have better things to do came and posed for pictures with us.
