Rush's theory was they sent deliberately sent BIden out to send their base the message that yes we believe in redefining marriage but we can't say it for political reasons. You understand wink wink. But it didn't work because Biden is such a reputation for "misspeaking" that the press didn't know if he was serious or it was just old Joe being Joe.
