Steven ZC is right - you of all people should know all the enterprise software vendors have their best quarter in Q4. Oracle has its worst quarter in Q1 due to quotas not being assigned, and quota club in disparate parts of the world - sales reps dont even think about getting back to work till the last month of the quarter. DB revenue slowing is going to be a big test coming up for Oracle since they are the only healthy db company not struggling with other problems (delisting, criminal behavior of ex CEO in the case of Fomix)- if they cant show healthy growth all of the DB sector may be overpriced even at their current levels.

Anyone read Larry's new book - the difference between god and larry ellison? a good read - to bad its authorized, they probably left out the good stuff.
