>>This is the type of market I don't like and I lose money in...a non-directional market<<

Good morning Kevin

We are both using trend-following systems of sorts and so when one has a choppy market it can result in whip-saws. Your system is more sensitive than mine--in that it usually triggers signals more quickly. The downside to that is that your system is likely to result in more whip-saws--the upside is that you will usually be in a move well before I am. I guess it is all a question of trade-offs.

What I do know is that if one has a good system and follows ALL the trades, it generally works out very well.

BTW, I will exit the remaining OEX puts that I am long if we get towards yesterday's low on the SPZ or if I get a buy signal on the futures during the day.

Hi Kevin, it feels like the percentages for making winning trades today are lower than normal. Good luck to all... I'm taking off.
