Is it?

1865 before we end slavery??

1919 before women get the vote

1965 before we end discrimination

2012 and most of we humans still cannot understand 1) that gays are born that way; and 2) it logically follows we all should embrace their desire and right to marry as a truism.

Here is the real question though, we should all be absolutely puzzled by:

How is it that 90% of Americans still believe the religious myths, that are so preposterous any high school kid should easily be able to see the illogical assertions they make, let alone adults with college educations, including our president and most congress people.

How is that possible, given the total lack of evidence or logic and the fact we know exactly how we came to be?

How is that possible?

What is it about we humans that allows us to be so smart about some things like quantum physics, and so stupid about others, like religion?
