Wow ... the left has their new "Trayvon Martin" case to whine about for a while now.

As Obama continues to lie, and commit fraud every day he sits in the oval office.

Of course, that's just fine though. After all, it's just our country he is crapping on.

WaPo slammed for Romney "hit piece"

dcrtv.com (DC/Balt. Radio & TV/Media) ^ | 5/11/12 | Dave Hughes

Matt Lewis at dailycaller.com: "A question emerges in reading the Washington Post piece on Mitt Romney today: How can Romney's old pal Stu White tell the Washington Post that he has 'long been bothered by the Lauber incident' - and then later admit to ABC News that he was 'not present for the prank' and 'was not aware of it until this year when he was contacted by the Washington Post'?"

More questions about the story have been raised at weeklystandard.com.

This morning, WMAL's morning show came to the conclusion that the article about the GOP's presumptive presidential nominee bullying other students in his prep school days in the mid-1960s was a "hit piece".....

I don't care much for Romney.. But it's a bit of a false comparison to assert that the Republicans are questioning Obama's "Americanism" because he held Indonesian citizenship and grew up there as a young boy.

The only question that has been brought up is the legitimacy of his eligibility to be President. The constitution clearly states that the President must be a natural born citizen.

Every child, including myself, were bullies, AND bullied.. God forbid I be held accountable today for what I did when I was a snot-nosed child.

As for Romney, I believe he essentially shut down the operations of Bain Capital in order to find the 14 year old daughter of a co-worker who was missing in NYC:

politifact.com

So here we have Romney costing his firm considerable time and money to find a lost girl, while Obama's relatives are living as illegal aliens in the US, or on a dollar a month in a shack in Kenya..

dailymail.co.uk

One of his uncles, an illegal alien, was just arrested for DUI in Boston..

An Aunt, who ignored a deportation order in 2004, continuing to live in the US in gov't housing illegally, was granted "Asylum" in 2010. I believe she continues to live in gov't housing.

Come on now.. Obama has nothing to be proud of when it comes to showing compassion. Especially after earning millions from his book sales.. All that money and nothing to lend to his relatives to provide them a "helping hand"..

He can't even "change" the lives of his relatives.. How can he be expected to create positive change in our lives?

Hawk

Muslim Rape, Liberal/Left Complicity
by Paul Weston

The liberal/left need to take a long hard look themselves in the wake of the appalling Muslim gang rape revelations. I don’t blame the Muslims particularly, they are simply living by the 7th century rules of a desert warrior, but I do blame the liberal/left for quite literally enabling the brutal rape and violation of our children.

All you liberal/leftists are complicit in these crimes against humanity. You could have stopped it years ago, but you deliberately chose not to.

The BBC, The Guardian, the Crown Prosecution Service, the Child Protection Agency, the Politically Correct Police Service: I accuse you and the entire liberal establishment of deliberately covering up the multiple rapes and ruined lives of countless vulnerable young girls because of your utterly immoral and obscene attitude toward your own people, and your cowardly appeasement of a religious and political ideology that sanctions the violation of non-Muslim females.

Even now, when the facts are presented before us, you tell us it is not a Muslim problem, nor apparently a racial problem, unless of course you happen to be a vaguely all-encompassing Asian. But no amount of politically correct liberal/left evasion can disguise reality, and reality confirms the overwhelming culture of these paedophile rapists to be Islamic, and the overwhelming race of the majority of the victims to be indigenous British girls.

And this is not just a one-off case. It’s not only in Britain where this sort of thing happens, because the multiple gang rapes of indigenous girls by Muslims is replicated in every country where Muslims co-exist with non-Muslims:

  • There is a rape epidemic in Oslo. The vast majority of the perpetrators are Muslim, the vast majority of the victims are Norwegian Girls.
  • There is a rape epidemic in Malmö. The vast majority of the perpetrators are Muslim, the vast majority of the victims are Swedish girls.
  • There is a rape epidemic in Copenhagen. The vast majority of the perpetrators are Muslim, the vast majority of the victims are Danish girls.
  • There is a rape epidemic in Sydney. The vast majority of the perpetrators are Muslims, the vast majority of the victims are Australian girls.

I think we can safely say, then, that it is indeed a matter of one particular religion, Islam, rather than the liberal/left’s obscene portrayal of it as simply an Asian problem, and it is indeed a racial problem when the victims are overwhelmingly native Europeans.

Thirteen separate towns and cities have been identified in Britain where this has been happening, and it now turns out the authorities have known about it since the early 1990s. In other words hundreds, possibly thousands of vulnerable and under-age British girls have been raped and both physically and psychologically damaged for life, with at least two taking their own lives, because the liberal/left refuse to accept the reality of Islam.

What is worse, even when the whole disgusting issue is dragged into the limelight, they still refuse to recognise that Islam is a supremacist ideology. But Islam considers non-Muslims to be second class citizens, and Islam considers women to be second class citizens. Infidel females therefore can be raped with impunity in the House of War — a Koranic label for all parts of the world which are not ruled by Islam.

On BBC Radio 4 this morning John Humphrey’s suggested that by identifying the rapists as Pakistani Muslims rather than just Asians was to give ammunition to the right-wing. So the BBC continues to cover up the brutality of Muslim gang rape rather than the face the reality of the modern Britain produced by malignant and catastrophic left-wing ideology. By doing this the BBC — overwhelmingly a feminist organisation — is complicit in the rape of our children.

Years of indoctrination by the liberal left have produced policemen with no sense of their duty to protect the most vulnerable in society. Politically Correct police chiefs have no morals, no decency, no empathy. They are now driven by the fear of being labelled racist, apparently a far worse crime than racist gang paedophilia.

And the worse thing here is that I can guarantee not one policeman will lose his job, even after they admitted they wilfully ignored the ongoing abuse carried out on their watch in the interest of some sort of perverted community cohesion. The British police are now more than just a disgrace, they are a stain on the history of this country.

The left-wing Politically Correct indoctrination that has enabled these shameful events means one thing and one thing only: By deliberately ignoring crimes against humanity and subsequently seeking to disguise these crimes, the liberal/left have lost their very own humanity, along with their morals and their souls.

If they had any basic common decency they would be ashamed of themselves, but I don’t think they are. Despite facilitating genuine evil and wickedness their prime concern now is to hang on to their jobs and seek to halt the rise of what they term the “right wing” — you know, those nasty people labelled racist — when they drew attention to Muslim gang rape over a decade ago.

But they cannot stop us. We are rising only because the public are awakening to the results of all that the liberal left stand for. There is good and evil in this world and the liberal left is evil. Betraying your country via mass immigration and Multiculturalism is bad enough, but to betray, and to continue to betray your own children is simply a step beyond the comprehension of all decent people, and no amount of liberal/left propaganda and evasion can alter this one simple fact. For the first time in a very long time I feel deeply ashamed to be part of a country that you, the liberal left, have produced.

After I read the post again, I have to say I don't believe I have ever seen such a disingenuous piece of shit post in my entire experience of posting on any thread.

That just goes to tell me you are nothing but a troll, pure and simple.

No one but a troll would post such a piece of total crap. Not one mention that the "victim" of Romney's 'bullying' said the incident never happened. No, don't mention that part. And don't even attempt to get close to the truth with any of the rest.

Your entire post was nothing but a 'sore loser' way of trying to get even, in one fell swoop, for all the phony, suspicious, and even illegal activities Obama has in his background .... which you and your liberal butt-buddies refuse to address.

I hope to hell you didn't pat yourself on the back after posting that one. Even a liberal without any sort of moral compass can readily see that was a piece of largely-fabricated garbage, thrown against the wall in hopes something might stick.

Liberals are truly mentally ill.

Florida investigation reveals 180,000 non-citizens may be registered to vote

Posted by Dan Spencer ( Diary)

Saturday, May 12th at 3:44PM EDT

Florida officials have discovered that 180,000 registered voters may be non-citizens.

A CBS4/Miami Herald analysis of information supplied by Miami-Dade shows a large number of the potential non-citizens voters cast ballots in the past — including the 2000 election, when the presidency was decided by just over 500 votes.

According to Deputy Supervisor of Elections Christina White, there are a “lot of non-citizens on our registration rolls.”

Florida’s Division of Elections is checking the citizenship of voters by comparing drivers license records, which show whether a licensed driver is also a U.S. citizen.

Non-citizens are able to become registered voters in Florida because if a non-citizen checks the box on the voter registration form that says they are a citizen they are registered to vote, because the form is signed under oath.

Those registered who are identified as possible non-citizens are reported to the State Attorney’s office The States Attorney may charge anyone who unlawfully registered to vote with a felony.

According to the Heritage Foundation’s Hans Von Spakovsky, Florida’s investigation is only looking at legal immigrants, not illegal aliens, who may have registered to vote even though they are not citizens. Von Spakovsky, a former member of the Federal Elections Commission, says that Florida is doing the right thing with this investigation, but is only scratching the surface. Florida can’t check for illegal aliens who registered to vote because the Federal government is not giving Florida access to Immigration and Naturalization Service records which would help identify illegals who have registered to vote.

You can watch Bill Hemmer and Hans Von Spakovsky discuss Florida’s investigation of non-citizens illegally voting in the accompanying video here.

Nearly four years after CNN reported on the scandalous ACORN voter fraud, and those fraudulent voter registrations were converted into fraudulent votes, we are still struggling to prevent voter fraud. Instead of working to prevent voter fraud, the Obama regime goes so far as to sue some states that require voters to show a photo ID in order to vote.

Elizabeth Warren: Senate Candidate, Marxist Author & Shameless Race Grifter

[/ElizabethWarren.jpg[/img]Elizabeth Warren’s reign of fraudulent incompetence would be more startling if she wasn’t just a robotic Marxist, simply treading the well-worn path used by millions of other leftist charlatans. But given the high stakes of her current MA US Senate bid, her addiction to underhanded maneuvering must be exposed. Her Harvard law professorship affords status to continue the progressive dream of demanding crippled Marxist ideals for public policy. Warren bellows for doomed-to-fail socialist policies which have only ever created human disaster. And, as always, this is done in the deified name of the People, despite Marxist ideology always uniformly harming the most destitute.

As the inexplicably blonde-haired, blue-eyed “Native American” Warren cannot produce any hard evidence of her racial status, we must ask: Is she a pathological grifter? ( Online Etymology Dictionary defines grifter as a: “confidence trickster.”) Indeed, her entire history is littered with questionable elements. Warren’s greatest hits include a desultory publishing history—partner of admitted Marxists, producing flabby scholarship so anemic other academics described it as unbecoming of even an undergrad. Now, after rejection as Obama’s Consumer Financial Protection Bureau Czar, she is caught up in another scandal. The sanctimonious, hectoring, holier-than-thou Marxist Warren used a bogus racial heritage to grease the skids into an Ivy League professorship.

Ethical dwarf Warren is subject of today’s essay as her larcenous race-grifting so stunningly contradicts the mindless Marxist moralizing she regularly spouts as often as Old Faithful. Overall, it’s an absolute imperative to halt implacable leftists demanding an America coup. We cannot save the West if we do not challenge individual Marxists whose dream is to cripple Capitalism while extinguishing the God-given rights of free born men and women across this great land.

I. Who is Elizabeth Warren? An Oklahoma native, Elizabeth Warren was a sometimes student and mother before divorcing and applying to Rutgers Law. She went on to several law school teaching positions. She was eventually hired by Harvard where her second husband was a law professor. A childhood incident of supposedly losing the family car after her father’s health crisis led to a fixation on how health care affects bankruptcies.

At Harvard she authored and co-authored a number of articles, including some on bankruptcy. Warren helped create the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) for Barack Obama, but was blocked from heading it over concern regarding her progressive views. After this setback, she decided to run for US Senate against Scott Brown for the seat formerly held by Ted Kennedy.

II. Professor Sitting Bull’s University Marxism A. Academic Publishing: Substandard Scholarship Warren distinguished herself by publishing on Bankruptcy. Yet, other academics who perused her work describe the finished product as appallingly substandard. Wrote one source:

A Northwestern University peer review of her 2005 paper ripped it apart, arguing “the methods were so poor they gave cover to those who want to dismiss the problems of the uninsured ‚Äî they can say the only paper out there uses a suspect method.”

ABC News suggested she was exercising a hidden agenda to promote a government-run health system. Sure enough, President Obama in 2009 seized on her findings to argue for socialized medicine: “The cost of health care now causes a bankruptcy in America every 30 seconds.”

In fact, as ABC pointed out, the claim cannot be supported by empirical evidence. Asked where he got the flawed data, the White House cited the 2005 study by “Professor Warren.”

An extensive expose of Warren’s shoddy methodology of her desultory compositions was penned by Megan McArdle, senior editor for The Atlantic, in an article titled Elizabeth Warren and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad, Utterly Misleading Bankruptcy Study:

Elizabeth Warren has another study out showing that medical expenses contribute to more than half of all bankruptcies—indeed, this time, it’s 70%, up from the 50% she found in 2001.

Now, it is possible that this is true. The fact that it seems to disagree with every other study I’ve ever read that is not authored by Elizabeth Warren, and also, the self-reports of the people in her study (only 1/3rd attribute their bankruptcy to a health problem) could just be a fluke. It doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s wrong.

Yet upon closer examination, it turns out it’s not just wrong, but actively, aggressively wrong. Warren and her co-authors have obscured important and obvious facts that call the integrity of the work into serious question.

There is, of course, a large amount of terrible advocacy masquerading of social science out there, and too many journals and journalists abet it. But this is particularly troubling because Elizabeth Warren is now in charge of overseeing the TARP program for Congress. What other inconvenient facts is she shielding us from?

The clear point of McArdle’s article is Warren sacrifices academic integrity to service her progressive gods, schlepping for Marxist beliefs. Another writer states, “The studies suffer from what economists and statisticians call “selection bias,” meaning the sample is not random.” This bias becomes even clearer when it turns out that several of Warren’s writing partners are themselves Marxists. Despite being blocked from stewarding CFPB, Warren is still a crucial “academic” source for Obama’s drastic health measures.

McArdle discusses Warren’s poor research in another article titled, Considering Elizabeth Warren, the Scholar, stating,

Does this persistent tendency to choose odd metrics that inflate the case for some left wing cause matter? If Warren worked at a think tank, you’d say, “Ah, well, that’s the genre.” On the other hand, you’d also tend to regard her stuff with a rather beady eye. It’s unlikely to have been splashed across the headline of every newspaper in the United States. Her work gets so much attention because it comes from a Harvard professor. And this isn’t Harvard caliber material—not even Harvard undergraduate.

III. Elizabeth “Running Mouth” Warren: 1/32nd Cherokee, 31/32nd Marxist A truly amusing aspect of leftism is how loudly liberals condemn others for failing to adhere to ethical standards to which they themselves appear deathly allergic. Elizabeth Warren built a career claiming the system is defrauding health care patients, many whom she claimed end up in bankruptcy. Yet Warren herself defrauds the entire Native American community—one of America’s most challenged sub-segments—by falsely commandeering their identity to further her own career. In other words, for Progressives and Pragmatists like Warren, morality is defined by situational ethics.

Warren claims Native American status, yet has no hard evidence to support her claims—except anecdotal tales of her grandfather’s cheekbones. Not only does the Cherokee Nation not list Warren on its rolls, but her claim of 1/32nd bloodline does not even satisfy their standards. In fact, her supposed Native forebear is listed as “white” according to Frontpagemag.com:

The census records for 1860 list the allegedly Cherokee great-great-great-grandmother, O.C. Sarah Smith Crawford, as “white.” Also, Warren’s family isn’t listed in the Cherokee registry.

More hilariously, Warren claims she checked the box as a Native American to “meet others like me.” This fails the sniff test for several reasons. First, what was she seeking—other Aryan-looking “American Indians” bearing miniscule blood relation to each other? Second, who would have stopped Warren from attending any Native shindig had she simply wanted to appear?

Is it not absolutely absurd to claim the WASPish, blonde-haired, blue-eyed Warren chose Native status for any reason other than self-advancement? Did she gain in her career from claiming to be Native American? Obviously she was insecure enough to feel she could not make it to the Ivy League without falsifying her status. But consider whether Warren would have admitted having a drop of Black blood before the Civil War; or whether she would have claimed a Jewish grandparent to the authorities in Berlin in 1938.

Ponder Warren’s nonsensical claims reported by ABC News:

That same day, when speaking to a local reporter, the Oklahoma City native recounted a story of how her Aunt Bee used to envy her grandfather’s “high cheekbones” - described as a physical characteristic of many Native Americans.

“I still have a picture on my mantle at home, and it’s a picture of my mother’s dad, a picture of my grandfather, and my Aunt Bee has walked by that picture at least a 1000 times, remarked that her father, my Pappa, had high cheekbones, like all of the Indians do, because that’s how she saw it, and your mother got those same great cheekbones, and I didn’t. And she thought this was the bad deal she had gotten in life” Warren said.

But the story reveals further rich details. First, a person willing to pass themselves off as a Native American on a 1/32nd claim would also be willing to simply fabricate the claim of family Native pride, no? Writes Michael Patrick Leahy on Warren’s Native bona fides:

Elizabeth Warren, the current Democratic candidate for the United States Senate in Massachusetts, has for 25 years asserted that she has Native American ancestry but has never produced one bit of credible evidence to support that assertion. Shockingly, several of the law schools that have employed her have accepted her assertion without requiring her to provide evidence to support the claim.

Warren, in fact, simply did not have the record to become a law professor at a good school until she began to fake her Native American roots, according to IBD:

This begs the question: If Warren’s scholarship is so deeply lacking academic vigor, how did she land a full professorship at Harvard?

Her curriculum vitae shows she bounced from college to college, working as a lecturer or researcher, for a full decade after graduating from Rutgers Law, ranked 82nd by Top-Law-Schools.com. (She got her bachelor’s degree from the University of Houston, one of the least competitive colleges in the country).

She was offered a full professorship after she started listing herself as a minority. Harvard hired her in the mid-1990s, when the school was under fire for not having enough minority professors.

Ironically, while no hard evidence tying Warren to Native Americans was found, despite mainstream media claims to the contrary, she has been tied to an Indian killer. In fact, states the Boston Globe:

Paul Reed, Utah genealogist & American Genealogical Society fellow, found primary documentation showing Warren’s great-great-great grandfather Jonathan Crawford served in a Tennessee militia unit that rounded up Cherokees before they were force-marched to Oklahoma in the infamous “Trail of Tears.”

CONCLUSION Elizabeth Warren’s case proves, once again, that followers of Karl Marx give themselves the right to tell as many lies as are needed to promote the “higher truth” of Marxism. So Warren does her only-the-conclusion-matters “scholarship” meant to support Barack’s health care mandate. And in return, Warren’s quid pro quo was she gets made head of her own, brand new “consumer watchdog” agency meant to consume the consumers with its vile socialistic standards. All this to help take down America in the name of revolutionary progress of the people.

In the same way, Obama’s record is also filled with half-truths and lies, from both him and his fanatical backers. And for this reason, and the dangers such unprincipled leaders and would-be senators and their made-up scholarship pose, we must remove all far-far leftists from public office, starting with Barack Obama.

The ‘bribe’ to silence Wright

Last Updated: 9:19 AM, May 13, 2012
Posted: 11:14 PM, May 12, 2012

When sermons of Obama’s Chicago pastor, Jeremiah Wright, surfaced during the Iowa primaries, it threatened to derail Obama’s campaign. ABC aired one where Wright screamed, “Goddamn America!” Edward Klein interviewed Wright, who told him Obama’s team tried to buy his silence.

‘Man, the media ate me alive,” Wright told me when we met in his office at Chicago’s Kwame Nkrumah Academy. “After the media went ballistic on me, I received an e-mail offering me money not to preach at all until the November presidential election.”

“Who sent the e-mail?” I asked Wright.

“It was from one of Barack’s closest friends.”

“He offered you money?”

“Not directly,” Wright said. “He sent the offer to one of the members of the church, who sent it to me.”

“How much money did he offer you?”

“One hundred and fifty thousand dollars,” Wright said.

“Did Obama himself ever make an effort to see you?”

“Yes,” Wright said. “Barack said he wanted to meet me in secret, in a secure place. And I said, ‘You’re used to coming to my home, you’ve been here countless times, so what’s wrong with coming to my home?’ So we met in the living room of the parsonage of Trinity United Church of Christ, at South Pleasant Avenue right off 95th Street, just Barack and me. I don’t know if he had a wire on him. His security was outside somewhere.

“And one of the first things Barack said was, ‘I really wish you wouldn’t do any more public speaking until after the November election.’ He knew I had some speaking engagements lined up, and he said, ‘I wish you wouldn’t speak. It’s gonna hurt the campaign if you do that.’

“And what did you say?” I asked. “I said, ‘I don’t see it that way. And anyway, how am I supposed to support my family?’ And he said, ‘Well, I wish you wouldn’t speak in public. The press is gonna eat you alive.’

“Barack said, ‘I’m sorry you don’t see it the way I do. Do you know what your problem is?’ And I said, ‘No, what’s my problem?’ And he said, ‘You have to tell the truth.’ I said, ‘That’s a good problem to have. That’s a good problem for all preachers to have. That’s why I could never be a politician.’

“And he said, ‘It’s going to get worse if you go out there and speak. It’s really going to get worse.’

“And he was so right.”

look at this moron, he raised taxes so more productive people left the state and he got less tax revenues. So what is the answer for this liberal regarding this revenue problem ? yeah raise taxes again. you libs just don't get it. we aren't bricks.

California Gov. Jerry Brown said the state's projected budget deficit widened to $16 billion from about $9 billion, and he warned that the state will need deeper cuts to services such as education if voters don't pass a tax-increase measure he is championing.

The Democratic governor on Monday is set to release his revised 2012-13 budget to lawmakers in the state's Democratic-controlled Legislature.

While he didn't outline details of his new budget plan in a brief YouTube address, Mr. Brown said the state would have to cut funding to schools and public-safety agencies already hit with steep budget cuts in recent years unless voters pass his ballot proposal in November.

That measure would temporarily raise sales taxes, to 7.5% from 7.25% for four years, and it would boost income taxes by as much as three percentage points for seven years on individuals making more than $250,000 a year or households making more than $500,000.

"What I am proposing is not a panacea, but it goes a long way towards cleaning up the state budget mess," Mr. Brown said in his video statement.

H.D. Palmer, spokesman for the governor's Department of Finance, said Mr. Brown still planned to make deeper cuts to other services even if the measure is approved.

Some Democratic lawmakers quickly showed support for working with the governor.

"It pains us to have to bridge such a sizable gap, but we will get the job done with an eye toward doing the least amount of damage to our economy and to those who are struggling the most," Darrell Steinberg, the state Senate president pro tem, said in a statement.

Most Republican lawmakers oppose any new tax increases, saying they would slow California's economic recovery. But they have been largely sidelined in this year's budget process after voters in 2010 passed a measure allowing budgets to be passed by a simple majority of the Legislature rather than the former requirement of two-thirds.

David Valadao, a Republican assemblyman from Hanford, in the inland Central Valley, said the new deficit projections don't change his opposition to new taxes. "We've done nothing to create more jobs such as easing regulations on business," said Mr. Valadao, who like many Republicans is pushing for more breaks to businesses to stimulate economic growth.

It remains unclear whether the governor's tax plan will pass in the fall, although public-opinion polls in recent months have shown wide support.

The new budget uncertainty arose when revenue fell below Mr. Brown's projections when he first submitted a proposed spending plan in January, and when spending cuts came in lower than expected because of federal delays and court rulings, Mr. Palmer said. The state controller's office said personal-income-tax revenue—a large part of California's income stream—came in $2 billion below estimates during April.

California's recovery has been uneven. High unemployment persists in many inland areas, while coastal areas have recovered more strongly on resurgence in technology and other industries.

State officials have held out hope that initial public offerings of Facebook Inc. and other tech companies could generate new tax revenue in time to reduce the projected deficit for the fiscal year that begins July 1. Facebook alone could provide $1.5 billion in additional tax revenue by June 2013, Mr. Palmer said.

A state deadline for passing a balanced budget is June 15.

Vulnerable Democratic senators balk at Obama's gay marriage endorsement

By Alexander Bolton - 05/12/12

Senate Democrats facing difficult reelections are breaking with President Obama’s endorsement of same-sex marriage, a sign the issue is politically dangerous in battleground states.

Sens. Jon Tester (Mont.) and Claire McCaskill (Mo.), the two most vulnerable Democratic senators, have declined to endorse Obama’s call for the legalization of gay marriage.

Sens. Joe Manchin (W.Va.), Bob Casey (Pa.) and Bill Nelson (Fla.), Democrats who have easier races but in states that could become more competitive by November, have also backed away from Obama’s stance. They all represent states with constitutional amendments or laws banning same-sex marriage.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) predicted Thursday the Democratic Party would adopt a pro-gay marriage plank in its platform. While that may happen when delegates to the Democratic National Convention meet September in Charlotte, N.C., the party remains divided.

“Jon believes in civil unions for committed same-sex couples but in Montana a marriage is defined as between a man and a woman,” said Andrea Helling, Tester’s spokeswoman.

Montana is one of 30 states with constitutional amendments defining marriage as between one man and one woman, according to Human Rights Campaign, a group that promotes gay rights.

Chris Matthews Bombs on 'Jeopardy!' After Repeatedly Mocking Palin for How She'd Do

By Noel Sheppard | May 15, 2012

On at least four occasions, MSNBC's Chris Matthews mocked Sarah Palin for how he felt she'd do if she were ever on the hit television game show Jeopardy!.

In a delicious example of instant karma, the self-proclaimed brainiac got his chance to show America how smart he was in a special "Power Players" version of the show Monday, but came up quite short finishing dead last with the paltry sum of only $2,300 (video follows with transcribed highlights and commentary):

For those that missed it, Matthews was matched up against CNN's Lizzie O'Leary and former Obama White House press secretary Robert Gibbs.

Quite comically, the MSNBC anchor's first gaffe came when he couldn't even correctly request an answer to a question.

"Let's go back to, what is 'Crossword Clues E?' I mean, I'm sorry, let's go $200 for the category 'Crossword Clues E.'"

Matthews appeared to have his Joe Biden thinking cap on.

Host Alex Trebek finally read the answer, "At ____, soldier! Four letters."

"At ease, soldier," Matthews responded. "What is 'At ease, soldier?'"

Although the correct response was "Ease," host Trebek graciously accepted Matthews' offering.

A bit later, the answer to another question was, "Full name of the U2 pilot shot down over the Soviet Union in 1960."

Matthews responded, "Who is Gary Powers?"

Trebek prompted, "We need the full name."

Again channeling Biden, Matthews actually just repeated the same thing saying, "Who is Gary Powers?"

Trebek said, "No," and the audience burst out laughing. The full name of course was Francis Gary Powers.

And that's when things really got ugly for the arrogant Matthews.

With the category "Law and Order," the answer was, "A U.S.D.C is one of these, charged with the jurisdiction of a specific region."

Matthews responded, "What is a U.S. attorney?"

And this guy has the nerve to ridicule anyone. Where do you find "attorney" in the acronym "U.S.D.C.?"

Obviously, the correct response was district court.

Then, in the same category, another answer was, "In 1986, the Supreme Court ruled that the 'hostile environment' type of this can be sex discrimination."

Matthews responded, "What is a hostile workplace?" This brainiac thinks the same word can be in both the answer AND the question.

Of course, the correct response was sexual harassment.

And then the fun really began in the category "6-Letter World Capitals" with the answer, "St. Basil's Cathedral is there."

Readers are once again reminded the category was "6-Letter World Capitals."

Almost astonishingly, the pompous and holier-than-thou Matthews responded, "What is Istanbul?"

The correct response - containing six letters and not eight! - was Moscow.

As such, when Double Jeopardy! ended, Matthews had a whopping $4,600, almost $10,000 behind O'Leary and over $8,000 less than Gibbs.

As they all missed a very tough Final Jeopardy! question, the game concluded with Gibbs having $5,600, O'Leary $4,200, and Matthews pulling up the rear at only $2,300.

This from a man who on October 2, 2008, shortly before that evening's Vice Presidential debate, said of Palin:

"Is this [vice presidential debate] about her brain power?... Do you think cute will beat brains?...Do you think she’d do better on the questions on Jeopardy! or the interview they do during a half-time?...My suspicion is that she has the same lack of intellectual curiosity that the President of the United States has right now and that is scary!"

Then on January 12, 2010:

They find these empty vessels who know nothing about the world! Nothing about foreign policy! Who immediately begin to spout the neo-con line. I read her book — it’s full of that crap....It’s unbelievable how little this woman knows!...Don’t put her on Jeopardy!

And again on November 2, 2010:

“Senator, do you think Sarah Palin is qualified to be President of the United States?...If she were on Jeopardy! right now and the topic was national government, American government generally defined, would she look like an imbecile, or would she look okay? Does she know anything?"

And finally on January 19, 2011:

“I’d like to see her on just a couple of episodes of Celebrity Jeopardy! or It’s Academic Mac McGarry to just see if she knows anything.”

Well, Chris, America just saw you on Jeopardy!, and you came in last with only $2,300 missing what most viewers likely thought were pretty easy questions.

What's that they say about people in glass houses?
