And I totally agree with your suggestion. Wonder why the Obama campaign is not saying that as yet. Is it because it is too early to do so? Seems to me that right now Obama is dancing around the "economy issue" by focussing on silly matters like women's right to use the pill, gay marriage support etc. He has been very late in picking up issues such as the healthcare issue where he sat back during the summer of 2010 and let the Republicans call the shots. By the time he realized that he needs to bring it into focus, he discovered he was too late. He needs to hold the Republican Congress accountable for the economic mess we are in. Ever since the Republicans came to power in the House, nothing has moved. On the contrary things such as the economy, job growth, US credit rating etc. have fallen behind. It would be interesting to see the rate of job growth during Obama's first two years versus those during his next two years in office. Off course, MM would not be interested in those figures when he is toeing the Republican line (doesn't matter if it the Libertarian or Tea Party line).
