>> Seattle will receive $30 million in federal stimulus money to help rebuild eastbound Mercer Street into an attractive two-way boulevard.

So, they got 30M of a 200M project that would, apparently, have happened either way.

"The money is part of a $1.5 billion fund created by Sen. Patty Murray, D-Wash., that will go to Mercer Street and some 50 other winning projects announced by the federal Department of Transportation."

FUCKING PORK. Nothing more or less.

It was stimulus to get the economy going again after you all destroyed it.

Bridge to nowhere. Waste of my money that my kids and theirs will have to pay for.

Really? You don't your ass from a hole in the ground, and yet, you think you can tell me what's good for my city. Seriously? Mercer St is an important throughfare in the downtown district. Hardly a bridge to no where.........

The spending of this trillion dollars of future generations' money is EASILY the most immoral act I have ever seen our government undertake.

Immorality was voting for Bush.......TWICE.

How do you sleep at night knowing that you've stolen money from future generations to flit away for no reason, whatsoever?

With Obama president, I sleep very well.

Obama, Obama, Obama....................................
