Fubho, the link is broken, but the Rasmussen poll is the most optimistic for Romney:

It is possible, though, that Obama's stance on gay marriage is causing him to lose a few points in polls.

Which counteracts the theory that Biden floated a political trial balloon. More likely is that Biden's big mouth forced Obama into a corner.

Correct link for Rasmussen. Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Saturday shows Mitt Romney earning 50% of the vote and President Obama attracting 42% support.
