I have no doubt there were whites out there who voted for Obama to prove to themselves they weren't 'racists', but they alone did not elect him. The ones who elected him are the weak minded gullible ones, who bought off on his sales pitch for his Rainbow Stew special. The voted for him because he made them feel good (a la Chris Matthews). Those are the ones who elected him, and would have voted for him no matter what color he is or isn't. The ones who make their decisions based on their 'feelings' rather than based on facts and logic. The typical liberal. The same ones who voted democratic in 2004. The same ones who always vote for the 'compassionate' liberal candidates. They're the ones who worry me. At least the ones who voted for Obama based on race has some 'reason' for voting for him - not just that he made them feel good. I'm not sure they have the ability to think anything for themselves, and always rely on others to tell them what to do. These folks are especially susceptible to the 'party line' talking points. These folks are the ones who are the real enemy of this country.
