"look at this moron, he raised taxes so more productive people left the state and he got less tax revenues.

I was reading into the future, watch and learn.

It's not knee jerk, it's human nature, it's reality. You raise taxes and they will leave

<Aren't you embarassed by your original false accusation??>

Embarrassed???? Better read the definition... mistakes by clownz like these just embolden them MORE and make them louder and stupider.

Further when ANYONE on "his team" no matter how moronic, does stupid stuff or makes mistakes... "it's ridiculous these lefties even bring that up"! UFB how duplicitous and stupid bongsnort and his ilk are. For example I'm sure he thinks it's just dreadful and irrelevant that a bunch of Romney's fellow prep-schoolers have bolstered his persona as a clueless doe-eyed ninny.... but OBAMA's school dayz... and college and everything else going back to his parents are "FAIR GAME" and "IMPORTANT" information!!!! If you want to waste your time try seeing some of his posts elsewhere... I"m sure he's yelling louder than anyone on SI and bringing in all his stupid cut and pastes from "like minds" (i.e. screaming, pathological emotional sources like Breitbart) to bring up all sorts of tangential issues in trying to pretend their poor little ego's haven't been hurt!

The hypocrisy is completely comic at this point.

DAK

PS, haven't seen Romney's response... but a simple "jeez I was just a kid... I really am sorry about that" would shut EVERYONE up on both sides... so apparently that hasnt happened??? Ironically it would probably help him GAIN popularity... so that would be pretty unique and take intelligence...

"In view of what they hear from the experts, the people cannot be blamed for their ignorance and their helpless confusion. If an average housewife struggles with her incomprehensibly shrinking budget and sees a tycoon in a resplendent limousine, she might well think that just one of his diamond cuff links would solve all her problems. She has no way of knowing that if all the personal luxuries of all the tycoons were expropriated, it would not feed her family—and millions of other, similar families—for one week; and that the entire country would starve on the first morning of the week to follow . . . . How would she know it, if all the voices she hears are telling her that we must soak the rich?

No one tells her that higher taxes imposed on the rich (and the semi-rich) will not come out of their consumption expenditures, but out of their investment capital (i.e., their savings); that such taxes will mean less investment, i.e., less production, fewer jobs, higher prices for scarcer goods; and that by the time the rich have to lower their standard of living, hers will be gone, along with her savings and her husband’s job—and no power in the world (noeconomic power) will be able to revive the dead industries (there will be no such power left)."
