<<<<<< and if ckfr is about to turn profitable then i must agree that it just may not be as speculative as i have been classifying it!

......we think more alike than we thought!

......note that intuit owns a big chunk of both checkfree and excite.

......for a good long term hold-you might look at intuit as well--they could be a leader in fianacial planning etc. by parlaying their software and their alliances with ckfr and xcit. note that xcit has quite a good financial center at quicken.com etc.

......that all being said i have lots of ckfr and just a small investment in intuit recently. i still feel that ckfr must be lumped with the blue chip leaders in the internet.

........even my mom (a grandma) said that she noticed that her bank is offering computer bill pay--and she doesn't even own a computer! wait till the slaughter of those chip/drive makers drives prices down even further--when the average joe can buy a good computer for $500-$600 you will see a lot more net action and ckfr should really show us some profits.

......i think ifmx looks for a 1-2 year turnaround and should be a double

.....i will check out a few of your recs--thanks for staying in touch.
