Funny you guys brought the subject up. I am 69 and have my only investment in Au right now. I have not been working since I was 48. I have been living off my investments ever since. I don't feel a move into equities is a requirement because of low interest rates. I keep track of my expected years of cash flow life by applying my current life style expenditures to the value of my portfolio, which is calculated for me on a daily basis. At my current expenditures rate, I will have enough assets to live another 47.5 years. Needless to say, I don't believe I will be here that long nor do I want to be.This calc keeps me from being scared into/out of investments because of cash flow requirements. Just another thought----Peace
