NOC boosts dividend payout by 10%

FALLS CHURCH, Va., May 16, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The board of directors of Northrop Grumman Corporation ( NOC) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.55 per share on Northrop Grumman common stock, a 10 percent increase from the prior quarterly dividend of $0.50 per share. This is the ninth consecutive annual increase in Northrop Grumman's quarterly dividend.

"Today's dividend increase demonstrates our confidence in the company and our continued commitment to a balanced cash deployment strategy that includes share repurchases and a competitive dividend," said Wes Bush, chairman, chief executive officer and president.

The dividend is payable June 13, 2012, to shareholders of record as of the close of business on May 28, 2012.
