It's not just the black community that has missing fathers--40 percent of white babies are now born out of wedlock also. The welfare culture has eliminated the need for a nuclear family. nytimes.com This is just one of many reports that indicate that out of wedlock births are increasing. If you google "out of wedlock" births you can find all that statistics you need to confirm this. Linking it to the existence of welfare may be harder to do, but it's not stretch to see that as a contributing cause. Again this trend permeates ALL races.
