Why is rebuilding Iraq considered conservative and rebuilding our cities liberal big government? Do the big contractors of the military industrial complex have much fatter profit margins overseas?

And how!

And there are different companies that do these things. Much less competition for the govt contracts overseas. And, based on reports I have read or heard, far more room for graft.

It's crazy. We get so much back from good infrastructure. Business needs it. People need it. And it's the right thing to do. Why did the reps allow so much money to be wasted on "reconstruction" in Iraq, when we could have been doing some real good here at home? That's a rhetorical question. The wasted the money because they are freaking idiots.
