Actually, Dave, he did it to several. As an 80's takeover artist, he borrowed money using the company as collateral to aquire the company, then sold it with the company bearing the financial burden of it's own takeover, and several of the companies he did this with continued on to bankruptcy, after Romney and his partners took their payoff.

In general, these companies that are taken over in this manner are already on the ropes.

It is like arguing that Prozac causes suicide. It is just a stupid argument.

I would also point out (as it was to Carney this morning) that Blackstone, who is in the same business, hosted a big fundraiser for Obama and Blackstone is all good. It seems that only political enemies get criticized by Obama for this activity -- one which is necessary for proper functioning of a capitalist system.

As to Gecco, "Greed is good". I'm not usually a big fan of Hollywood movies, but I firmly believe that line was a true statement.
