Just listened to a PW recording from Elise Wang from yesterday evening. Here are some notes from the call.

- No fundamental reason for pull back
- Her best guess, biotechs typically weak end of year, but typically come back in January
- Continue to expect strong script data
- Maintaining 12-month price target of 75 based on fiscal '98 $4.00 and change and industry multiple in the mid 40's.
- Expect strong earnings report in early January...her estimate .12, if not better...expect stock to rebound strongly.
- Expect positive data from Retrovirus meeting in February...twice daily dosage, combination therapy, resistance data.
- Regarding one drug company...no question Viracept will be near term focus and likely for some time to come.
- Don't feel Glaxo's drug will be available to end of '98 beginning of '99 and it's unclear how strong a competitor they will be
- Don't see any competition as near term threat.
- Rhinovirus...begin clinical studies soon, could be a very sizable market.
- She mentioned Thymitaq later in '98, but I'm not sure as to what...will call and listen again later.
- expecting strong rebound in 98.
===================================================

Almost sounded like a might see futher downside, but don't panic kind of message. I've got mixed reactions at this point.

I'm not sure, but possible refill data may be deceiving because the length of a prescription varies from doctor to doctor. That is some doctors may fill for a months dosage while other fill for 2 weeks??? I'm not sure, but it could explain the inconsitent re-fill number.
