the problem w/ socialism is that it tends to create more and ever more folks who suck at the [place own choice of noun] of socialism, become beholden to continued expansion of socialism, and ... so it spirals in vortex until gurgling then empty (i) socialism when coupled with dictatorship is merely bad (ii) socialism when paired with just elections can evolve quite a bit faster than by mere dictate (iii) socialism makes sense for many when much wealth around, lasting longer (iv) socialism ends quickly (60-70 years seems to be norm) when most are poor and under dictatorship let us watch n brief and see if above observation tracks well
