The $ 120MM original issue discount is amortized over the life of the loan, which is supposed to be repaid this year even though it is not required to be repaid until 2017. The interest rate is variable with an 8.5% floor and various prepayment penalties presumably start in 2013.

CHK was down to $700MM of liquidity before getting this loan, which is quite tight for such a big spender.
