Well, as a person who went to San Jose State during the 60's and smoked pot, I feel I should be an honorary member of this thread-lol.

The "keys" came from Mexico?, wrapped in colored cellephane and they had been soaked in sugar water and then pressed into a brick. They cost $50 and were divided into "one oz lids". They had weeds in the keys and sometimes were a bit moldy and needed to be dried out in the oven.

They were put in one oz "baggies" and sold for $10. We always called it grass and thought the word pot was for the straight world. Funny how the word pot won out and the word grass is no longer used. We used to roll the joints and smoke them until we could no longer remember to roll a joint.

All the kids I knew were normal kids, not criminals, who went on to be productive members of society, except those who were arrested and had their lives ruined for no reason at all.
