If they sell enough assets to repay in 6 months that's 14.5% APR. That sounds more like "investor demands" than investor demand.

CHK would undoubtedly borrow more at that rate if more money was available. CHK has been a great ride for Wall Street, generating boat loads of both fees and interest. Management also rewards themselves handsomely. About the only people left out in the cold are shareholders.
