In 2008 marijuana received more votes than anything ever in the history of Michigan. More than anyone or anything. Ever .. I assume actual vote record is good enough indication?

Oh ..I forgot. Marijuana is going to be on the ballot, in 2012, in something like twenty more states. Pretend it isn't an issue .. real hard .. maybe it will go away. Obviously it isn't an issue for you. You are not the voting population of the United States. It is THE single uniform issue ON THE BALLOTS of the various states at this time and will remain so through November. It is THE issue. If the politicians in DC are that stubborn, we'll get an amendment to the US constitution to get it done.

It's not that I want them legal. I want human beings no longer being submitted to senseless torture. The methods being used do not deliver. Inflicting misery on humans simply to inflict misery. Not to mention the massive reduction in safety to the general population caused by the current, worthless, policy. I want this systemic abuse of US citizens to stop. You are probably afraid to stop the abuse, fearing a backlash. Probably feels like running out of cookies while feeding the bears at Yellowstone ..
