Agreed except that he has been telling multiple egregious Fibs so he gets treated how he treats others

ALSK is getting close to where a speculative trade would have good odds of making money. The company itself is in slow secular decline which may get exacerbated by competition. FTR is a similar company and pays a dividend north of 12%. $1.67 would be the price where ALSK would yield 12%, and I would consider investing around that price. I'm not interested in FTR, at least not on the long side.

ALSK isn't a bad idea, just early.
