No, seriously, there isn't any difference between Swedish and American Muslims. Few religions outside of cults, do not have their radical fundamental wings fighting with modernism. That would include Muslims in Europe. It's nice to think that but in fact, but 'radical fundamentalist' is normative for Islam. Sure, there is the Sunni-Shia split. But on both sides of that split the radicals run the religion. And the religion is inherently interventionist in society in a way most people can't imagine in the western world. Jesus said his kingdom isn't of this world, Mohammed said Muslims are supposed to rule this world.

There's never a difference within one of the favorite labels to these wingnuts... That's the whole purpose of labeling someone: so they can generalize based on there worst fears of some fringe element of the same name. Brummy regularly generalizes about all sorts of groups based on the most radical fringe that he can find... Then he cuts and pastes his crazy ass stuff in order to support defamation of even the most reasonable people. Basically bold faced lying completely based on his own political and religious beliefs which has nothing to do with any interest in the actual pluses or minuses of the group or topic itself except as it relates to his personal agenda as seen through his bigoted upbringing. His favorite groupings (labels) used to denounce literally anyone not aligned religiously and politically with him are such groups as: Muslims, atheists, environmentalists, liberals, elitests (a group based on level and location of education), racists (tied directly to democratic party apparently) among others. You will notice Longshort do the same thing but he's so busy cutting and pasting crap from hateful fringe websites all over SI that he doesn't even pretend to have any interest other than label anyone less hateful than himself as a liberal with the implication that they may as well be followers of bin Laden! Incredible stuff... Although childish, ignorant, and ultimately just pathetic and boring. DAK
