David, I updated my help post with some additional info. Sort of embarassed (as a MU bear) to say I have a MUEI P133, circa June '95.

I talked to MUEI and kind of have an understanding; the motherboard should be OK, and you are right about 4 slots, etc. I will take the thing apart tonight to see exactly what type of memory I have as far as speed - pretty sure there are two(2) 2x32 EDO Simms, 60ns = 16M.

The comment about not giving it away is correct also, since you need to add in banks of two. -g- So it is basically a twofer one, unless you have friends. The sale ends tomorrow so maxing out at 64M and getting 3 different names and addresses to drive over to CPU, might end up costing a bit in beers. -g-

Should I just get 2 16Ms, for a total of 48M, or go for 64M? And remember the speed issue, since I'm not certain what I have.

To add to the MU thread for all this sidetracking, the MUEI tech gal said they do not purchase memory exclusively from MU. They go for the best price/performance, now.

Regards, DWW
