I think between the new Chinese philosophy that "to get rich is glorious", and the imperfect but important changes in Russia and Eastern Europe - Marxism has suffered huge defeats. In all those places people have learned to mistrust the pink to red parts of the spectrum. In western Europe and in the US, Marx's ghost is not doing too badly, that is true. The Euros, in one form or another, have always been statists, but must admit the faith in government shown by Americans in recent years caught me by surprise.

The Tea Party has the potential to turn the wave into a tsunami. If more people understood what we stand for...........honoring our founding fathers wishes by restoring free markets, limited constitutional govt and fiscal responsibility............they'd climb on the wave and flood govt with people who believe in those ideas.
