This is the weekly update to the Group and SOXM(SOX) tables in terms of earnings estimates and price changes.

Earnings estimates were down this week, but not by much. Just the normal minor adjustments for the week.

The biggest news has been the downtrend that has been setting in on the indices recently. Since the week ending 3/30/12, the SOX has gone from 438.64 to close this past week at 364.48, a difference of 74.16, or -16.9 percent. This latest string of the SOX being down 6 of the last 7 weeks hasn't occurred since the week of 5/6/11 to 6/17/11 when it went from 449.56 to 388.21.

The SOX close of 364.48 this week is just 0.04 points above the 12/30/11 close of 364.44. We are right back where we started the new year.
