Actually the neighborhood selected him and no one knows exactly what happened when the two met or who initiated the meeting.

Even if we did know, either party confronting the other is not a crime. The crime was the assault by Martin - which is the one thing we have a lot of evidence for - bruised knuckles on the assailant and broken nose and cuts on the victim.

I know that all neighborhood watch folks are volunteers, aka self-appointed. Watching suspicious folks is what they're supposed to do. And circling Zimmerman's parked vehicle while he was on the phone to the police dispatcher qualifies as suspicious. Nowadays, liberals like you, Chrissy, are telling people they aren't allowed to look at or talk to likely criminals prowling their neighborhoods.

You can cower behind your locked door, clutching your gun, but it's not for everyone.
