I vote for curtain #2. (Cause my safe haven is gold)
Your post reminded me of all the pension funds that are probably in deep do-do. At church tonite I saw David Bronner, head of the Retirement Systems of AL (RSA). Got me thinking (cause of my acct background I'm sure).About 4 years ago, these guys were planning on 5-6% annual return in order to meet their future obligations. All of a sudden, in one year, actual returns had to have dropped to about 2% if they were lucky.. Probably was not a ponzi scheme cause their total return covered everyone retiring then and into the near by future. Would not surprise me now, if they were using future assets to pay current liabilities. Any way hope I'm wrong. Just a thought.----Peace
