More on this topic. I find it very irritating how almost EVERYONE (including the current Brietbart editors) tries to downplay the elephant in the room -- that Obama either lied then or he's lying now. Excerpts:

Sure he furnished the information. That's standard practice. The agents aren't going to go out and investigate the person, in order to write a bio on them.

He thought it sounded cool to have been born in Africa. It reenforced his 'blackness' ... in his mind. Chances are his college financial aid was also obtained using that same story ... so he couldn't afford to change it then anyway.

Just another example of the man's ingrained dishonesty.
