I went ahead and bought a Mini 30 today. Darn hard to do. Ruger has had so many orders that they aren't now taking orders. They now have orders for over 1 million weapons they haven't yet built. The store checked with 11 different Ruger distributers to find one rifle. I also bought 500 rounds of ammo. It's a comfort thing.
