Yes, good points, it may be too early, and the market may be a bit thin and vulnerable to manipulation. But, anecdotally, it bothers me that I know relatively few people who are strongly and definitely for Obama. And yet, intrade gives him a large edge. Could this be an early indication that there may indeed be a new "silent majority", and that the impact of long term redistributionist efforts has pushed the balance beyond a critical point? I don't now the answer, and hopefully it is no. We'll see.
