<<COP is BB's baby. >>

i though CVX was BB's baby.

actually i have been holding/trading COP for a couple of years now. like most of the big cap holdings i have, i don't pay a lot of attention on the assumption the street is watching it better than i can, and so i cannot add any value.

hmm, actually that is pretty true about the value i can add when reviewing a low cap think that is totally ignored by the street.

i was going over the list yesterday and a bit surprised that O&G up to 15% spread over 13 names. also that a majority of the names i expect to add to are O&G. from macro perspective not sure i wish to go much beyond the 15% level at present.

Re Was COP a hedge fund hotel like MRO was prior to the split into Two ? .

That could be the cause of some but not all the weakness.
