"Post the U.N. information as fact? My God, Bernie! That is Insider Information. We can not post it for anything else, but rumor. "

No Jake you missed my point completely. I did NOT say you should post it as fact. But if you post it as a rumor, and it IS insider info...what about that??

So what you're saying is if you post rumors that just may turn out to be insider information, calling it a "joke" or a "rumor" covers your ass when the SEC looks into it??

You're not "talking down to me", I'm just a dumb cluck in matters like this. It seems that just because you don't call something a fact, and it IS insider information...doesn't get you off the hook.

Like screaming "fire" in a crowded room, and saying it is just a joke or a rumor as folks are rushing out of the building...doesn't get you off the hook either.

All I'm saying Jake, is that if any of the "information" you post comes from "inside", even though you SAY it's a rumor, I think that is still a violation...by SOMEONE.

And I'm NOT saying you're doing this, I'm just making some points that simply irk me each and every time you post one of your "rumors". If someone ELSE has gotten information from within and tells it to you (and you KNOW it came from within), are you not part of that process of revealing "insider information"??

I also take issue with you for each and every rumor that comes your way that gets posted, even though you say it's just a rumor and what you are doing is for "entertainment". There are those who are trying to do due diligence, make some informed decisions based on something more than "entertainment" focused posts.

To say nothing of how many "rumors" and "predictictions" that get posted, only to turn out to be whimsies; and the effect is has on your reliability.

Now I am not in any way saying you should stop your God given right to post and your right to free speech in this great country of ours. It's just that in some way, down the road - it IS possible, without any way of your knowing it, it may be possible that damage can be done to this company's reputation and reliabiltiy...no matter how many qualifications you add to all of your posts.
