I love the unarmed part you constantly parrot - as if you know that in advance or in the middle of a fight.
If someone jumped me, said they were going to kill me or started reaching for my gun - I would most definitely shoot them. Anyone who has gone to the trouble of getting a Concealed Carry Permit has also been informed that brandishing a gun to "scare" a criminal away, yelling I've got a gun or firing warning shots is illegal and will get you in a lot of trouble. You keep a concealed gun concealed at all times and only draw when you feel you need to shoot - and then you shoot center mass to be safe and end the confrontation as quickly as possible.
