How about sending an e-mail to everyone.

Still more of a hassle than posting once to Facebook for each update. Facebook also allows one to see others' posts, it really helps in instances like Road Walker's situation. Can't do that easily with email.

I suppose I could have taken the time from my wife to go through hundreds of contacts, selecting each one that would want to know, and send an email. With each update. And then respond to each question individually.

But I was pretty upset. Facebook worked really well. I'm thankful to them for that. That's all, no investment or stock politics.
